Medium voltage transformers
Instrument transformers are transformers that transform currents and voltages proportionally and in phase into measurable and standardised currents and voltages.
These can supply measuring instruments, meters and/or protective relays. In addition, the connected measuring and protective devices are electrically insulated from the live parts of the system.

Railway transformers
GSEFB
The GSEFB outdoor voltage transformer is designed for use as a high voltage transformer on electric railway vehicles. The insulation is made from outdoor air-resistant cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, with outstanding mechanical and electrical properties. The GSEFBC is additionally enclosed in an insulating silicone compound and the top is fitted with a pressure-relief cover to protect against damage or the unlikely event of a rupture. All parts exposed to the open air are made from corrosion-resistant materials and the devices are maintenance-free.
The railway transformers are used for insulation voltages up to 40.5 kV, comply with European and international standards, and are manufactured in an IRIS-certified plant.
The transformers are compliant to EN 50463, meet the requirements of the current LOC&PAS TSI and are thus suitable for on-board energy measurement. For this purpose, many transformers are already eligible for the issue of a preliminary intermediate statement of verification for EC-certification.
GSO(F)B
The GSO(F)B is a single-phase slip-over current transformer, Um = 0.8 kV, with cast resin insulation for use as a high current or reverse current transformer in or on electric railway vehicles.
The primary conductor is an insulated cable or bus bar provided and routed through the transformer by the customer. Its outdoor air-resistant cycloaliphatic epoxy resin insulation means it meets all requirements for use on the vehicle roof. The transformers comply with European and international standards and are manufactured in an IRIS-certified plant.
The transformers are compliant to EN 50463, meet the requirements of the current LOC&PAS TSI and are thus suitable for on-board energy measurement. For this purpose, many transformers are already eligible for the issue of a preliminary intermediate statement of verification for EC-certification.
All railway current and voltage transformers are also available as required in other designs.
