High-voltage transformers
Our high-voltage transformers are oil-paper insulated in modern, proven Ritz quality. A high-quality PCB-free insulating oil is used and the converters are hermetically sealed. This is ensured by corrosion-resistant components, a stainless steel expansion cell and clamped O-ring seals. This protects the oil-paper insulation from external influences and eliminates the need for oil maintenance over the entire service life. The primary conductors can be made switchable and thus adapted to different primary currents. We prefer to use composite insulators with a specific creepage distance of 31 mm/kV and load class 2. The terminal box has a practical design for safe and fast connection work.

The CMO type high voltage transformer is a combined high voltage transformer. inductive current and voltage transformers (CT/VT). It is used in High-voltage systems for the provision of output current and voltage for measuring devices for measuring turnover, for protective relays and other devices for monitoring of current and voltage.

Type CVO
Capacitive voltage transformer
The CVO from RITZ is a coupling capacitor voltage transformer (CCVT) used in high and extra-high voltage systems to provide output voltage for meters, protective relays and other measuring devices. In addition, the device can be equipped with special brackets using an accessory that enables the CCVT to be used for coupling powerline carrier signals (PLC) to the transmission line for communication applications.
Compared to inductive voltage transformers, CCVTs become increasingly cost-effective as the grid voltage increases. In addition, CCVTs weigh less than inductive voltage transformers. The upper condenser segments can be dismantled for easier shipping and handling. This brochure describes the functions and features of the RITZ-CCVT type CVO.
