APPLICATION
In medium-voltage applications such as SVC systems, back-to-back stations, DC links or in high-voltage direct current transmission, precise measurement of currents is of great importance. The compact EMVI 4005 electronic current transformer is suitable for measuring direct, alternating and mixed currents up to a maximum of 12000 A. It is used in medium-voltage systems with the aid of an appropriately insulated primary conductor. The EMVI 4005 offers a good alternative to conventional current transformers, particularly in the case of a primary current that contains DC components or high frequency components.
