The IRBT generator current transformer has been an integral part of the
RITZ product portfolio for many years and offers a reliable solution for the special
requirements in the generator environment. The extremely high currents in particular –
up to 50,000 A – place high technical demands. In order to ensure precise measurement despite low
phase center distances, specific
compensation windings are used to effectively
compensate for interfering external field influences.
With our improved design, we have also succeeded in making the transformer suitable for
use at ambient temperatures of up to 80°C while still reducing the
height of the current transformer by approx. 15%.
Thanks to the new design, the converters are not only more compact, but the
weight has also been reduced by 5 to 10%, depending on the design. These
changes offer advantages in the handling of the converters. In addition, a
terminal box has been added to provide customers with improved secondary connection technology
. All these adaptations enable customers to obtain
proven quality and technology with improved user-friendliness.
