The extremely high currents in particular &#8211;<br \/>\nup to 50,000 A &#8211; place high technical demands. In order to ensure precise measurement despite low<br \/>\nphase center distances, specific<br \/>\ncompensation windings are used to effectively<br \/>\ncompensate for interfering external field influences.  <\/p>\n<p>With our improved design, we have also succeeded in making the transformer suitable for<br \/>\nuse at ambient temperatures of up to 80\u00b0C while still reducing the<br \/>\nheight of the current transformer by approx. 15%.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the new design, the converters are not only more compact, but the<br \/>\nweight has also been reduced by 5 to 10%, depending on the design. These<br \/>\nchanges offer advantages in the handling of the converters. In addition, a<br \/>\nterminal box has been added to provide customers with improved secondary connection technology<br \/>\n.
